Therentalcars is an online car-rental comparison and booking service operated by Himalayan Haze LLC ("Therentalcars", "we", "us"). We help you compare live prices from third-party car-rental suppliers and reserve online. We are a booking intermediary — we are not the rental company and not an insurer. The rental agreement is between you and the supplier; any insurance is provided by a third-party insurer.

1. Eligibility

To book, the main driver must be at least 21 years old, hold a valid driver's license, and present a credit card in their own name at pick-up. Suppliers may impose additional age, deposit, or documentation requirements, and young-driver surcharges.

2. What you pay, and when

At reservation you pay Therentalcars a platform service fee (and, if selected, an optional insurance premium) online. The rental charge itself is paid to the supplier at the counter — we never collect it. Prices are shown in USD and include our service fee.

3. Payment authorization & capture

When you reserve, we place an authorization hold on your card via our payment processor (PayPal) for the online amount. The hold is captured (charged) after 3 days, or sooner if you confirm, unless you cancel within the window. See our Cancellation & Refund Policy.

4. Insurance (optional)

Any collision/theft coverage offered at checkout is an optional product provided by a third-party insurer, not by Therentalcars. Coverage terms, exclusions, and the certificate are governed by the insurer's policy documents, which are provided on confirmation.

5. Supplier terms

Your rental is subject to the supplier's own rental terms, fuel, mileage, deposit, and damage policies, presented at the counter. Therentalcars is not responsible for the supplier's vehicles, service, or conduct.

6. Cancellations

7. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, Therentalcars disclaims all warranties and is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the platform service fee you paid us for the booking in question.

8. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Therentalcars against claims arising from your use of the service, your rental, or your breach of these terms.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of [STATE], USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes are subject to the courts located in [STATE].
